1. On page 54 Parvanna struggles with whether or not to enter the shop. Why is Parvanna not sure what to do?

Parvana is having a hard time to if she should or not to enter the shop.If she goes in the shop with out her father the taliban will come and hurt her. If she does not go into any shop to by food for her family the will starve to death.

2. How does having Mrs. Weera around change things for the family? Use evidence from the text to support your answer.

She changes the family by doing most of the work.She thinks Parvana being like a boy to get food for the family or they will be sad.In the book chapter six paragraph 2 and 3,"As a boy, you'll be able to move in and out of the market, buy what we need, and no one will stop you," Mother said."It's a perfect solution," Mrs. Weera said.

3. Why is Parvanna so upset about getting her hair cut?

Parvana is so mad that they are making her get her hair cut cause her hair makes her feel like a girl. She would feel like a boy but also look like boy thats why she worries about her hair and refuses to cut it.

4. Parvanna has to change her gender in order to support her family. She is hesitant at first, but then accepts that she must do this. How would you feel in her position?

I would feel a scared because she is scared of the Taliban but if she doesn't go then her family would starve and maybe be die and her father told her to keep the family moving and take of the family.I would feel a scared but after a little bit of thought i wouldn't be scared,because I would have the feeling to help the family.
